Can i fix my cut a/c condenser by blocking it?

help......

as you can see, the line is cut right there. do i need to align it back together or can I just plug up both ends? I'm soldering and jb welding it.

After i get the freon recharged, will my a/c work if that line is blocked?

JBweld won't hold on it I don't think. Solder is your best option, make sure you get the high heat solder. With it blocked it will just cut down the efficentcy of the system. Make sure you get the system vacummed before filling it.

As I mentioned in your other thread...have someone cut the tube there and weld both ends. Common practice. Trying to save that tube will prove nearly impossible.
