I have a '92 explorer 4x4, I have 3"s of body and 5.5"s of suspension. I was running 32"x11.50"s with my body lift but now that I've just installed my suspension lift I would like to upgrade to a bigger tire but I don't want to mess with the drivetrian yet so it will remain stock for a while. What is the largest tire I can run with a stock drivetrian? I was thinking about a 35"x13.50"x15" on my 15"x10.5" rims, Will that strain the motor and the tranmission? What is the ideal tire?

:) THANK YOU :)

You should be fine.. You can run a 35-36 easily on a 3" body lift with 4-6" suspension lift. I would regear the axles if you go to 35s if you have anything less than 4.10.

You may have some front axle bearing issues. You may also hit the the sway bar at full lock on steering.

thanx

Thank you for your feedback, I finally decided to just go with a 33"X12.50"
Procomp X-Terrain, not only does it look great, but it performs well with the stock drivetrain.

:) Thank You :)
