hey guys, i need some help. im planning on getting some new tires for my stock 93 eddie bauer 2wd. i was considering a coil spacer and aal or shackle until 4wheelparts told me $900. so i believe i will keep it stock height. i do want beefier looking tires and ive read here that 30x9.5-15s fit with no rub. i will probably go that route, but wanted to get your input first. ive always liked the tread of the mickey thompson baja hp's. i saw they make them in a 30x9.5-15, and also a 29x11.50-15. i would like them a little wider, so my question is, how would the 29x11.50 fit? is it too wide, wide, but might rub a little, and how would the sidewall look? i dont know if a 29 will look "lower profile" but real wide. please give me some input. price is a consideration, but before i seriously look at the mickeys, id like to know if they fit. p.s. i am also considering bfg/at ko's. i ran those for over 80k on my last truck. thanks for your help!!!!

A coil spacer and shackle lift is not going to run you $900. I dont have a 1st gen so I dont know the exact price on the spacers but the shackles are only like $55 and the AAL are only like $35. Im sure the spacers arent much more than those. With that combo you can easily fit 31/10.50/15. You can fit up to a 11.50 tire on the stock 15x7 rim. You may even be able to fit the 31's at stock height, but every X is different. Some fit some dont.
