if its also a 4x4 then yes... all the parts between 91-94 will swap with each other... except for the seat track in the earlier ones for some reason....

thanks man. i heard something about the abs ring on the rotor having something to do with it.....

It's not a direct bolt up swap (but not out of the question) to bolt d44 ttb outers on the d35 too....But that's only going to help if your lifting and puting a 35"+ tire on

codepoet, how would that help with larger tires?? do the 44 ttb spindles have a different camber?

I thought that the shafts and hubs were pretty much the same from the 35 to 44, no? just different spindle? I know we used d44 axle nuts to put lockout hubs on my housemates 92 explorer. Warn wanted 50 something dollars for the "kit" but we got a set for 15 bux at the local autoparts store!!

ah yes, thanx.

hey, what axle are you putting up front?? How involved is it?

I'm putting a hp d44 from a 79 f-150 (full width). It's not TERRIBLY involoved but it's not like putting on a spacer lift haha. I'm going to be extending the stock 79 radius arms 8-12's while pushing the axle 4" towards the front, and eventually i'd like to wrist the passenger side are for more range of motion. I'm planning on running heims on the ra's which will also necessitate custom ra mounts which i'll fab up. Will be using a set of bronco buckets which i'll have to modify to push bucket 3"s out to accomodate the wide axle. I'll be using a set of eb coils most likely since they work good. For the rear i'm going to use a 9" spooled/welded most likely, soa, gm style shock mount (one shock on front, one on rear of axle) to help control wrap. Going to put 5.13 gears in it and a locker in the front with 35" tires. Currently i'm tearing the front axle down on my balcolony, just had to clean up a bunch of gear lube that spilled out of a bucket when it overflowed with water lol. Haven't bought the rear yet...i'm doing it all myself including gears (have help though). Reading alot right now, and will be desiging the front suspension in a month or two.

nice. sounds like it should be a pretty solid setup. those will be some pretty nice long arms!

You can put a '93-'94 spindle on a '91-'92, but it won't work the other way. The later model spindle is notched for the ABS sensor to clear.

thank you mr boyle!
