I have a 91 Explorer that i bought and it has OEM Alloy Wheels on it that the person that owned it before me bought and put on. The exact wheels are at this website http://www.wheels-and-rims.com/cgi-...odid=14846&sid=8LpJDk0lWAIUESK-00103460164.9d
Now i want to buy a lift and bigger tires so i can go up in the hills with my friends and all their trucks. Will i be able to use these wheels for this or will i have to buy new ones. If i have to buy new wheels what do you suggest.

what are you asking? a rim will fit a vehicle with a lift? what tire size do you plan on running?

Welcome!

It depends on what tire size you want to run.

I want atleast 33 inch tires, and i can get a lift to match whatever size i get. I just want to know how big of tires i can get with out buying new rims and if these rims will work. I'm new to this stuff so i dont know what will work and what won't.

33x10.5 will work on those rims, for 33x12.50 I'd use 15x8 rims.

As Alec said, Welcome.... it depends on what size 33s you want... well, what width anyway... the general conscencus is on a 15/7 rim such as yours to go no wider than a 10.5" tire..... you could put a 33x12.5 on there, but it would make the tire really bubble out and it may wear funny even if properly inflated and maintained as per balance and roptations.....

Thank you, i will probably want to go bigger than that, but your information cleared alot of stuff up for me.

As Alec said, Welcome, to the new guy!!!!

This site is finding new people eveyday.

I have a 91 and the 8' rims i tried had a different offset than factory and would not turn at all with my 33 12.5's and 3' body lift. I would need a couple more inches lift
