I continously get the tire pressure sensor fault, and getting annoyed with resetting it. I figure one of the sensors are bad or the battery is toast (they're supposed to last 10yrs). Is there a way to deactivate the sensor system? And no, I haven't checked the owners manual yet ;)

when I was playing in the sand with low tire pressure I couldn't get mine off and I couldn't find it in the manual

When i got my BFG M/T's installed on my truck, ive NEVER seen a Tire Light come on, even with low pressure.....dont know what they did at the tireshop, but i dont get lights anymore!

(i used to get lights constantly with stock tires..i swear it'd be like 1 psi low and the light would trigger!)

what section of the manual is it in? im looking at mine right now and I can't find anything

I'd be interested to see where in the manual you found this info as well. I just put stock rims and tires back on, one of the reasons being the Low Pressure Fault message constantly.

If I can turn it off that would be great, I'm getting my buddy's 18" Saleens next spring.

I did see it some where. The dealer might be able to answer but I can not find it in the book for my 05x. I might have seen it in my 01 Expedition but I do not have the books. A buddy is using them for engine TS. I did find this for training them. Sorry Im not more help but I read it about a year ago and just can not recall where.
