Can you upgrade to information center console??

I have a 97 Explorer Sport without the information center. Is it possible to upgrade to this easily? I can pick up the console itself and place it beside my cup holders.

Do I already have the wires etc??

No, and that's the kicker. You need a whole bunch of wiring, sensors, etc. It's a royal PITA. I think one or 2 members have done it and it took them over 20 hours of wiring.

Ouch, not good. There seems to be a ton of extra wires undeneath my cup holders that have plug ins etc., but nothing is plugged into them. Does anybody know what those are for then?
