hey fellas, recently while driving my trac at freeway speeds, i noticed this little shake in the engine if i suddenly take my foot off the gas. it doesnt happen all the time, but it happens every now and then and i cant figure it out. it's almost like it sputters for a hot second as soon as i take my foot off the pedal. it happens when im going between 50-70 MPH, but like i said it doesnt happen all the time. all my fluids are checked and changed religiously, i checked for vacum leaks, rips and tears in any hoses and im good. no CEL. the car idles steady at about 600 RPM. anybody know what might be causing this? its just really annoying, and i want to make sure it isnt a sign of something that might be disasterous in the future. im guessing its some sort of throttle sensor or something like that. oh yeah, and the MAF and air filter are cleaned regularly as well. thanks guys.

Just to expand your focus, could it be a shudder as the converter is unlocking when you tip out of the throttle? Might be something to consider that's all.

And stop knocking on wood... he may knock back!

:D

good point. is this something im just going to have to live with or is there some sort of remedy to this? i am due for a flush. btw, ill stop the wood knocking from now on!

Wouldn't hurt to do a fluid and filter. I also added an external filter between the cooler and the tranny. Cheap insurance.
