Hey guys and gals,
This seems very odd to me,but apparently Bushwacker and other similar companies do not manufacture fender flares for a 94 Sport (2 door). They do however make them for the four door, the difference being the shape of the flare around the rear fender where the rear doors are. What are everybody else using? Will a Ranger fender flare kit work?Does anybody know of a company that does make them for my rig? Time is of the essence because my new rims and tires stick out far enough to cause me some problems with the boys in blue, and they're really sticky about that around here.Perhaps I should have looked into ordering the flares BEFORE I ordered the rubber ! lol

not exactly how they do it up there, but if you have mudflaps, they normally wont hassle you around here.....

Go to upper left CLICK on 'FLARES'

Look at Bushwacker Flares. They sell a variety. I think EXTEND-A-FENDER or CUT-OUT might be the Bushwacker Style you are looking for.

Thanx Tony, but I have already checked those sites before hand (and double checked again after your reply) but they do not make them for a two door 94. I would really like the cut-out pocket style 3",but since they do not have anything made for my truck,I guess I'll need to order something close and make it fit.I'm sure there is someone here that has a 94 Sport that has added 3" flares. Can anyone that has resolved this problem themselves give me any suggestions?

Sorry.

I didn't realize the tire well cutout was different between the 2 door and 4 door.
This explorer world is new to me.

You wanna know about pre '90 Volvo's and pre 80's Jeeps..Now that's what I know.

I think you could make a set of Ranger flares work.

I appreciate all your replys, and I think I WILL have to make a set of Ranger flares work, but they are not exactly cheap, and I don't want to order something that I will have to hack all to hell , or something that will not work at all.I think I will try to keep this post near the top of the board by posting a fresh reply to it each day, until someone who has put Ranger flares on thier rig has a chance to reply to this post and tell me if it all worked out OK. Thanks again guys.

Warn makes a set for about $350, but I'm not sure what they look like or how much extra coverage they really give. Iv'e been looking too, as I own a 92 Sport. I even asked Bushwacker if they could make some, they siad no, not enough of a interest.

Keep me posted on what you do and how they work out.

The Warn's are very nice, and look just like if not better then the Bushwacker. I had a set on my Sport and very tough. They give about 3" if tire coverage but they are not cut-outs.

OK, this is where I'm at. I have searched all the sites I can find pertaining to fender flares and have found almost nothing.I went to National 4wd and matched up a set of Warn flares for a Ranger of the same year, but they will NOT fit. From National,we called and spoke directly to Warn, and they said they don't make them for a '94 2door,and have no part # listed for it.However, on 4wheelparts.com ,they have a listing for a 4 piece set for a 94 2 door, but the part # they are using is not a Warn #. Thier listings for Bushwacker and other makes, are the #s listed from the manufacturer. So,if Warn says they do not make them, but 4wheelparts.com lists them but with part #s they created themselves, what is it that they are selling? Is it a rip off of the Warn4xFlares or do they have Warn making them just for them to sell exclusively?
I am begining to think that there is a grand conspiracy going on here !!!

i remember along time ago that there werent flares amde for the sport, or they were discontinued or something.....

I just checked www.warn.com . They just updated their website. Looks like the Explorer flares are discontinued. I know they have made them because I had a set. Might want to contact 4wheelparts to see how many sets they have left. There has to be a few sets still around.
