cant find a part name

its what i would call it the "splitter" but of course it cant be named something that easy. its the part that takes the feed from the master brake cylinder to the rear brakes and it splits the line to the rear drums. i checked the manual and it doesnt give it a name and my local parts store looked at me like i was from mars. any help would be much appreciated.

I'd imagine it would be called a "T" fitting....
 






What part store?

With that detailed description, they still looked at you like that?? What parts store in Wiscompton did you go to? I'd like to avoid that place... ;)
 






I had no problem getting that splitter thing. It comes with the brass splitter connected to a short piece of rubber hose. I bought one for a first gen.Ford X and it was cheaper then the one for my 84 B2, so I used that one.
 












Are you talking about the proportioning valve?

Does it look something like this?

i think he's talking about the rear brake line distribution block. try that name in the computer at the parts store. i had to buy one for a 93.
