cant find anywhere!

just purchased a 95 explorer sport limited 4wd....I found
This cable in the engine compartment and cannot find it anywhere. I know the female end plugs into the engine block on passenger side but where does the male end plug into! And what is it for?

it is the block heater, it plugs in on the passenger side just a little behind the front of the block under the exhaust manifold,, the kidney shaped end pushes into the metal fitting one way only,

best way to see it is to look in through the inner fender past the splash shield,,just hold the shield up a bit so you can see the side of the block,,
