CANT GET SHACKLES OFF!!!

aaargghhhh!!!! i cant get my shackles off my X. im tryin to put on a set of warrior shackles but i cant get my old ones offthe bolts just wont budge, is there some wierd trick to gettin em off? also where is a good place to put the jack? i can raise it enough for the tire to get barely off the ground but how am i gonna jack it up 2 more inches to fit the new shackles? qwik hep would be appreciated as my car is sitting up in the air right now(looks cool being up high though) but i have a feeling i cant drive it like that . thanx in advance

try some liquid wrench or WD40. spray lots of it and leave it for a couple of hours. Probably some corrosion there huh?

ive sprayed some beoing sheild t9 (thin lubricant) on it and its been on ther for a half an hour or so, im lookin for a metal pipe to give me more leverage(i dont care if i twist the bolt in half, as long as i can get em off) cause warroir provides new bolts.

wooo hooo! i got em off and the new ones on, just needed more leverage than my 10inch cresesnt could muster, i just need to get my spacers and then i can do the front, the shackles gave me 1.75 inches of lift. it sits noticably higher in the rear and the spacers will hopefully even it out and reduce some of my rubbing on the front sway bars adn fenderwells
