Are you talking about the bolt that holds the coil pack bracket? that is not 18mm. I think it's ten, but it's been a while since I've removed that. Look around with a flashlight and mirror. I don't think your trying the right bolt. But, like I said it's been a while for me.

Try taking the passenger wheel off and use an extension and swivel joint. Tight squeeze.

i wanna say they are 13 or 14mm. youre talking about the 3 holding the bracket down? two bolts on the upper intake and one father down bolted to the head next to the manifold?
the one on the manifold is gonna be a *****. spray it with penetrating oil, loosen and tighten the bolt a few times, spray more, loosen and tighten. try taking off the ratchet and hit the socket extension with a hammer a few times then try again.

I used a 6 point shallow socket on a swivel joint and then a 12'' extension... I think it was a 3/8 drive and some weird metric size... not the same as the other two for that bracket. It will just feel like it won't budge, won't budge, won't budge, then *snap* and it'll pop right off. Don't be afraid to just pull like hell once you get an angle on it, It's an American engine, it'll be fine.
