I was parked at a friends house the other night, and a few of our cars got "egged" by some vandals who we do not know who did it.

I have two large baseball sized areas where the paint was chipped in TINY areas, it looks awful. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to help it look better, or experience with this, thanks.

definately wash that stuff off NOW

i'd fill the large chips with touch up paint then polish it with buffing or rubbing compound and see how it looks

clemson eh? my gf is a sophomore there... i'll be coming down several times this semester

Definitely wash it NOW with a lot of car wash soap and a strong stream of water. After everything, inspect the paint and make sure there aren't any damage (faded paint). Then coat the area with a good bit of wax.

.......and then find the little peckerheads that did it and kill them.

Dude, what the hell is wrong with that kid?!? Woah you must of been bored when you found that lol.

Man NOW is not soon enough to wash off egg from your paint.
That stuff is very harsh and damaging.
Hopefully you got it in time.

We had an idiot drop his car off at our shop some time ago.
His car got egged and he washed it off with brillo scrubbing pad.

brillo pad.. I can understand using one for prepping for herculining the truck but come on... Someone can't be that stupid can they?

Ben I make much of my money from peoples stupidity.

Don't eggs eat through the paint even after they are washed off? I thought I heard this somewhere.

see... i got back to the car no more than 30 minutes after it happened, the eggs were still VERY wet. I washed it immediately. the problem comes from the impact 2 of the eggs made, i guess those shells are sorta like small pieces of glass hitting your car. it looks pretty bad. they are all tiny chips in the paint, too small to touch up, yet plenty large enough to see.

yeah, i am an incoming freshman at clemson.

it was a bad weekend, i also blew a piston in my jet ski thats gonna cost me about $800...
