You talking about the rollup type that you pull over the stuff you have in the back?

Mine did not come with one either so I ordered one from my local ford dealer. No snaps to use though. The cover just slips into 2 slots in the wheelwell trim pieces...just behind the rear seats. You pull the cover out of its roll and it slips into 2 more slots near the rear in the side plastic trim. Just like a window shade. No snaps! I hope we are talking about the same thing. It covers up all your stuff real nice...nobody can look in and see what you might have back there!

yeah there shouldnt be any snaps on them.....

yes!! thats what i want, i wasnt sure if if it would go in my explorer

what are my snaps for??

i have no clue, no stock explorer has snaps there....

crap, so when i take them out... im gonna have holes...

which "snaps" are you talking about?

Regular cargo cover would go in for sure... don't really know why yours came without it but you should be able to install it. There should be two indentations in the rear side plastic, one on each side (right behind the rear seat). That's where you snap cargo cover ends into... roll it and latch in the back by the rear gate. Just make sure that you match colors and that you buy one made for your year truck... I don't really know if these are interchangable between 4 door models and Sports and between different year trucks...

good luck!

PS... I can get pictures where my cover goes in on my 98 Sport... it all should be the same...

i have snaps, one on each side.... like snaps on a jacket.... your want pics tomorrow if you guys still dont know what i mean?

get some pics... I'll get some too... snaps? I have not seen snaps there in any of the trucks so far... custom job perhaps?

what so custom about screwing snaps into the walls lol, sry....

nothing, but it wasnt stock, so someone did it.... modifying other than stock is custom

i know i just dont see the point, theres no hint to what they could have been used for...

so whats the then? get over it...

I think I know what you're talking about... I've seen it before... get a picture anyway. These snaps might be there to snap an extra cover over things you have in the back...

ill take pics in the morning, its almost one and i dont know where my camera is

The snaps beside your rear seats are for your rear seats belts. They are to secure your seatbelts so they won't flap around when not in use. You should find the other half of the snaps attached to your rear seatbelt straps.

At least that is what mine are for.

ditto... see? I'm getting older and sometimes it takes another mind to make mine going...

that's what the snaps are for.... no need for pictures anymore. Funny that you mention those snaps... in my 94 Sport one of the snap parts is missing on the seat belt... go figure.
:D
