Cargo Light?

Ok- I have a '96 Limited and I can't figure out how to make the cargo light come on when you open the rear glass. Every once in a while it will, but not usually. Anyone help

Does anyone know where to tie into the overhead lighting (to include the door lights) and be able to turn them off when the doors are on. Fuse #27 (I think) control this and the 4x4 system, power windows etc. I don't want to disable everything. ALso, I don't want to have to tie into every light individually.

A similar topic is defeating the door ajar light. The lights (and door ajar light) are controlled by the GEM. You could probably rig the switches to think that your doors are closed and this would shut off the courtesy lights.
