cargo light

the lights come on inside when all 4 doors are open however, it does not come on anymore when the trunk is open...so i was looking for the switch for it...and i think i found it...on the tailgate...on both sides there is this plastic piece with springs....i was fidgiting with it but still does not come on....is that the switch? or what else could it be?...

The switch may be part of the latch inside the door.

 

[Crankcase]

The latch is the switch. There are the two ( ) c-shaped parts that close around the pin on the body of the X. One of them contains the switch.
