I'm new to this and getting there!

I have a question on a custom cat-back system that's going to be installed this weekend (if these answers don't change my mind :). I'm having the local red-neck shop put on a Ravin 55 series muffler with custom 2.5" piples from the converter back. I know I should hear some nice rumbles, feel a little kick (I have the tru-rev up front), and get a small boost in MPG, but what about torque? I do pull a trailer, and I don't want to loose (to me), that all important torque (especially when yanking that boat outta the water). If I install this setup, will I be ok? Will I actually increase my torque?

Thanks!

Ry.

Im not a 100% sure on this but if you go with the 2.5 piping you will gain some top end horsepower insteasd of torgue. If you go with 2.25 it will be the other way around. But you will barely notice the gains. You might want to see if someone else agrees to what I said.

yeah, i think the more open flowing the system is the more low end torque you lose. I know I lost a little with my dual exhaust setup.
