ive had floemaster exhaust for a while now and iwas thinking about either changing the two cats out for one high flow cat converter or just takeing them off completely , which would sound better 1 high flow cat or none at all thanx

I would go with the high flow cat if you have the V6. I removed the cats on my Mustang and my S10. The V6 in my S10 lost some torque, but I didn't notice a loss in the V8 Mustang.

Do yourself a favor and save yourself a couple headaches. For starters, save yourself the headache of listening to every exhaust shop owner telling you its illegal to remove your cats (to the tune of $2500 each). Second, save yourself the dissapointment of having to live with the mistake of removing the cats. Complete removal of the cats will cause the backpressure in your exhaust to drop and will result in a serious loss in performance. Running a single cat is a option, but make sure it is designed to work in the place of both the cats.

would one MAC high flow cat converter be a good replacement for the 2 stock ones?
