My 2002 sport trac is at 99K miles. I just started to get some issues with the transmission shifting between gears. No warning lights on the dash. The local ford dealer did all of the diagnostics, checked the fluids, etc. No issues with the transmission found. He told me that 2 of the catalytic converters are bad and I'm looking at a repair cost of $4100. Does this sound crazy or is this possible? Just wondering, does anyone know of the power train warranty on these is at 100K?
