I got into an accident a year ago and the car was in the shop for months and then I got it back and in the meantime, my former roommate had my CD magazine, and I recently got my magazine back. Follow me so far? Dead Link Removed
I popped the empty magazine into the changer one year after I removed it (and of course didn't use the Changer for the duration of the one year) and now it won't eject the empty cartridge.
The car is a 98 model under warranty. I wonder if maybe the body shop unplugged my changer during the repair work, or maybe the fuse popped. Any thoughts?
The main question is "will Ford repair my factory installed changer under warranty?"
I called SC Ford in SF and they said that they'll have to "send the CD Changer in" before they can answer my question.
Thanks all.
Mike
