CD Changer Swap

My 98 Explorer radio display died, it is single CD unit, I found a 6 CD changer, in-dash, out of an Expedition for $100. The front size of the panel on the changer is same as my old unit. Will I be able to just swap these units? Will the wiring match up, I am electrically impaired, so if it is going to be really difficult I will pass on the unit. I don't know what year Expedition yet. Thanks for help.
