cd player HELP!!

need some help, a friend just got a mountaneer and someoen stole his cd player and cut some wires, i need some help installing a new one. tried hardwireing it with no luck, went and bought a connector from the local walmart and one of the sockets fit, im guessing the second one is the one thats cut. please let me know. it has the premium sound, 6 disk changer and all that. THANKS!!

they should all be color coded or close to the same colors

If they cut the factory wiring harness out, the only 2 options you have is to either find one in a junkyard and cut it out or hardwire it. Unless they ripped a ground out or something stealing it, it should be fine to wire up like that.
