This has been going on for years, but I've been patient with it for too long I guess. I have the CD Player which has the 6 CD magazine which is in the center console of the X. I remember it worked perfectly in the past but then it started ####ing up, say a large bump would give me the message "No CD" but that wasn't a problem.
Now it has gone wild, CDs that used to play, won't even be recognized by the player anymore, and it will switch to another CD, or even worse when I am listening to a track, it will just mess up and give me the error.

Solutions I tired, haven't done any magic at all, I took compressed air, sprayed in and out, not a lot of dust, but it made me feel better, Used one of those CD Lens cleaning kits I purchased from the 99 Cents store, didn't do anything....

I'm sick and tired of it, now is there any suggestions you guys can offer me, other than to buy a new head unit with a CD drive? I like the OEM headunit, but I also want my CDs to play. I am about to crack it open and clean it myself, but before I proceed, what do you guys say I do?

I get the same problem from time to time but the compressed air trick seems to work fine for me each time.

I don't understand why it hasn't done anything for me, I guess I've gotten the Lens more dirty than it was before....ARGHH! I have to get this fixed...
