does anybody know if an explorer or mountaineer 95-97 came with a single slot cd player/radio i cant find any on ebay just wondering because i dont really like aftermarket radios too flashy for me

They did not, but there is one single CD player from the '98 Ranger and a few '98 Ex's that will work. It has the rear plugs that match yours, and will work- I had it in my '95. It does, however have green lighting, not blue.

I still have it, and it was offered in another thread for $90 shipped, if you're interested.

Does it have the one long connector on the left and the short one on the right? also isn't all the dash lights green?? i guess they are sort of torquoise doesn't really matter to me

the '95-'97 are turquoise, the '98 and newer are green.
