Stock CD Player

I recently purchased a 1995 Eddie Baurer Explorer that has a stock cassette player...I want to change it to a stock indash CD player...what years are compatable?

You might try the audio section of this forum. The is a " sticky" with some info. The best way is to pull the unit and look at the plugs on the back. I swapped my 96 cassette one with a "97" unit from ebay.... serial numbers also help a bit for you to get close. I think 94-96 were "funny" years as Ford was transitioning thru different units / makers / options. Most ebay offers have pictures of the rear of the unit so that you can align plugs which is all I did.
