CD-Rom Manual on Windows XP

I just purchased a set of Service Manauls on CD-ROM, but seem to be having trouble running them on Windows XP. The problems that I am having is that sometimes I get this View 16 message, which only gives me one choice; "Close" and that exits the program. The other one is, I do not get a picture on somethings, all I get is (ex. F4309D.TIF) in the middle of a gray box. Is there something I need to close,add, missing, or bad CD. I tried the search, but no luck. Please Help!

My CD runs on XP but not on my old 98 computer.

try running it in compatibility mode. You right click on the icon on the cd (that starts the program) and then when you get the property box, you can select which operating system you want to run it in. Try 98 or 95. THat might work

it works on my XP and 2000

For example: 1997 Ford Ranger Oil Pump Removal, there is a big gray box with A13806C.TIF in the middle (No Picture). Also, when I click TSB, nothing happens. By the way, Thanks to everyone that replied back.
