CEL Flashing..Killed X..Refired Fine

Anyone know off the top of their head what would cause the CEL to flash a few times, then the X dies....pulled off the highway and stopped...the X refired and drove home just fine...now we're afraid to go anywhere.

Fuel, spark, air. That's the 3 ingredients for the motor to run. Check your injectors & make sure they are clean. Replace the air & fuel filter. Other then that, you may still bring it to autozone & have them read the code. It should be in the memory still.
