CEL keeps coming on ....no issue codes

So resolved one issue....cleared code with OBD1 device /cleared older CM code.... CEL went off accordingly....but then couple minutes into driving came back on....re-checked - showing 'system pass' code 111 - meaning all's good..did another re-clear procedure for kicks but light stuck back on...
I've heard a poor O2 sensor can trigger weird anomalies / CEL without it showing the correct code for that...any feedback on this? It is a little off in acceleration / responsiveness......

Sounds to me like you need to do a Key On Engine Running test. Codes sometimes won't set in the computer until it sees it as a continuous issue (continuous codes are what you are pulling)
