Kinda funny, i almost went camping up near sonora this weekend, i have a friend who grew up there. Small world. Looks like fun, but wont be there.

Sounds like you are missing out then on a fun trip. Always fun to go wheeling in different areas. Just waiting till October when the desert cools down.....

It was a fun trip. It was maybe 50 miles east of Sonora. We were up around 7000 feet so the weather was nice. It was not a hard trail but was fun and a perfect trip to take Tracys jeep out for a trip. We drove her jeep from Fresno up there. Going from a tow rig and trailer to pack whatever we wanted down to a cj7 with 2 people and a dog made for a tight fit but it was fun. I miss driving a manual trans more often.

I forgot the camera but have some pictures on my phone. I am having a hard time getting the pictures off of it where I am but hopefully in a few weeks I will be able to get them uploaded.

Was it in the Dodge Ridge area? Went snowboarding up there a couple of years ago, and was thinking there must be some fun trails around there.
