Recently bought a 98 Ranger XLT. One of its problems was a broken center armrest. I bought an armrest on ebay that was for a 98 Ranger but it only has a driver's side mount bolt. The one on my Ranger has a mount bolt on driver's and co-pilots side. What is going on? I read in this thread that the plastic covers over the TORX bolts slip off. My don't want to easily slip off. Is there a trick to getting them off? Since this armrest seems to be cheaply made is there a better aftermarket or another year that is more durable? Thank you.
