Center Console Extension w/ pics.

I built a custom console to so I can holder more and bigger cups/drinks.... I know the pics will be big, sorry! Im adding 4" speakers, one to each side as well as a paper towel holder on the passenger side, speaker box carpet etc. Leaves room for more toys later to be added to the top. Just wanted to show off, thanks for looking!!

actually the angle for the back half, was just eyeballed, one cut tho! lol, just found some cup holders a Wal Mart that im gonna screw in from underneath (with small screws) have to find an older style paper towel holder, all i can find now are the ones that just sit up right, not screw to any thing, so im gonna have to make one

lol i asked the same thing when i bought it a while back, i tried a whole crap load of different carpet cleaners nothing seemed to work, HOWEVER w/e it is, is prob the same crap on the inside of the window. its taken 3 yrs and 100s of cleaners to clean the window, still wont clean

Just go buy a can of the Dupont Interior Paint and Dye, and just dye it black. Easy coverup!

Anyways, looks awesome! I've thought about trying to make mine connect into the ashtray, and wiring the cigarette lighter into the console to power various objects.

yeah i thought of doing something like that, putting a scanner in place of the ash tray, and then moving the lighter port to the extension.

thats why they make parkas. im getting bundled up to go out side and wire brush some valve covers as we speak. and i really need to get off my butt and go cut out my rockers from a yard b4 it starts accumulating snow.

chris ,in the past i've used "zep" brand carpet cleaner from home depot .this stuff works a whole lot better than other brands like "resolve" .for a gallon it's like $5-6 and belive me a gallon will go far when mixed right .i used it on the x and my chevy and you would not belive the crap it took out of the carpets on both of them .just make sure that you rent a good carpet machine or if you can't do that then clean the carpet with hot water and a good brush then grab a shop vac ( basiclly the same set up as a machine) to grab all the water out .

also..... if that dont get it for you there is always the takeing the carpet out and takeing it to a car wash that uses hot soapy water and pressure wash it ( don't laugh ...it works ).

The Ex interior is so easy to pull, it's only like 20 bolts... Good chance to clean everything out form under the carpet and make some cash in found change!

WOW. That's an amazing difference, to me it looks brand new. Also, is that a power washer? Or just a gun attachment for a hose?

You all have mentioned about ZEP being used and mixed right, how would you mix it?

really ! what school did you goto chris ? i went to johnson high and south hall middle .

josh i think the mixing instructions are on the bottle ( sorry don't have one with me ) but you don't really mix a lot if memory serves correct maybe 1-2 oz per gallon ?? but also when i shampoed the x i used my fathers dirt devil carpet machine with that mixed in the water but i also had a small spray bottle that had pure cleaner in it for hard spots ...that combo worked out good.

i know where that is ....LOL ....i used to cruise lakeshore mall when i was a teenager .dam i guess it really is a small world ! : i remember sneaking out of 2nd period weight class on thursdays ( nothing todo on that day ..just show up and the coach would mark us there) and me and my friends would sneak out and get in my car and go get breakfast at burgerking right up the road from gainesville high...one time we went to that school and walked around the hall ways .......we got asked to return to our class by a teacher so ....we piled back in the car and went back to our school ! those were good days
