center console removal

I have a question & I'm sure its posted somewhere but I have not found it.
I'm trying to remove my center console from my 02 explorer XLT.
Can someone guide me how this is done or provide a breakdown sheet on this.
Also I'm wondering if anyone has complete breakdown of the entire Explorer.

a hanes manual should help you do all of that for a cheap $20 price tag.
if you want an actualal break down repair book, youve gotta get a ford shop manual, but be prepared to spend several hundred id guess.

thats why i just stick to hanes and chilton. they give enough info for must projects.

I was actually hoping that someone on this forum would have that info up for grabs for us to use.
That's how I got all the info I needed when I used to have a neon. I joined a forum & we shared all the info & someone provided a total breakdown of the entire car.
But let me know if anyone knows the steps to remove the center console.

I was looking on how to remove the center part between the 2 front seats, that console.

It's pretty easy to remove the "Front Floor Console":

I believe that after you remove the 4 screws (bolts) from previous post you get into the back seat and push the console forward - not 100% sure but that is the way is is on 2nd gens

Do you know where I can find a complete breakdown of the entire 02 Explorer? I checked that website thats posted on the sheet but cant find anything.

I had a chance to work on the console & the top part came off as the instructions said.
1 screw & I just had 2 pull hard for the clips to release.
Under that part is where the other screws are located.
