So I was wanting to see some pic of people who have painted their center consoles and bezels in there exploreres. I have done mine and looks ok but want it better. Also if u wouldnt care to share how you all went about doing your painting to get it to shine and to get it smooth, mine feels a little ruff,

I havent done it but I would imagine after painting, spray on some clearcoat, then wetsand with some 1000 or 1500 grit sandpaper.

Check out my 95's thread, im doing it all black, you just gotta use the right spray paint, and make sure you prep good....

I use a sh*tload of rubbing alcohol and scrub the pieces with a rough towel, and then when theyre dry i do 2-3 coats of paint, wait til those are dry then 2-3 coats of clear top coat they come out great check out my thread for pics

To get the paint smooth and shiny you need to color sand it like ryon said. use 1500 grit or so and lots of water. You can also use a medium or fine cut polish to get even more shine after sanding. Depends on the paint you used as well...

I didnt sand anything besides the radio bezel because I wanted it to look stock

(painted whole interior black)
