Changed Radio Now No Bass

Hi all I am new to this.
I have a 98 explorer xlt with factory cd player with cassette. I changed it to a more updated factory six dish in-dash but my bass stopped working and have no idea what the solution is. Thank you in advance.

Most likely it was designed for a system with a stock sub. So therefore there is a crossover built into it to limit the bass to the door speakers since there is suposed to be a sub there. You don't have a sub, you have no bass.

I went through this with my truck. Dealer replaced the premium unit after the display went out with a Mach unit. I got screwed over.

Bingo... Had the same problem when I tried to switch to the 6 disc in-dash.
