I'm putting in a 94' 4.0 into a 92', I've noticed there are a few different parts on them. Should I use the intake from the newer that has some sort of an EGR valve thing on it, or should I use the one without? I also want to eliminate the A/C, anybody know what I need to do for sure? I'm thinking about eliminating as much unnecessary stuff for under the hood, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I had a similar situation. I put a '99 5.0 into my '96. Because of the differences in EGR setups, I had to use the upper and lower intakes from my old engine. You'll probably have to do the same thing unless you won't be smogging (if you even have that in your state) or you don't care if your CEL is always on.

For the A/C just take everything out. Compressor, lines, condenser, evaporator, accumulator, etc. You will need a different belt or pulley set up.
