Has anyone changed out the instrument panel lights to LEDs? I have a couple of burned out lights and tried to replace them, but I am ripping my hair out trying to get a good electrical contact with the new LEDs. I understand about the polarity requirement for LEDs, but it is the electrical contact with the circuit board that is causing my difficulty. Even removing the OEM incandescent and reinstalling it is a pain.

Anyone have any experience they can share?

THANKS

yup I tried a few different things bulbs were loose and did not make good contact... ended up dropping some foil into the hole and fried my cluster... in hindsight it is just better to replace the bulbs with oem bulbs since the cluster holds the pats data for the truck to start and removing the cluster renders the truck in-op... and a replacement is over $600 and this does not include dealer reprogramming.... now I have no dash lights or warning indicators and no idea where my mileage is at... just do regular bulbs!
