im changing the tranny fluid today and i wanted to check a few things.
how much new fliud do i need? i have always had a shop do it and i never really figured it out. do i need to jack the front or rear up to let it drain out faster. i have a friend and his dad helping me but they normaly do J**ps and i dont want to look completly helpless here.
reason is it squeels when i turn the truck on and when i drive about 20 mph. this happened last time i played in the water and i had the fluid changed so the noise went away, which makes me assume that it is the same thing this time.
another thing is a drain valve. i saw a picture on here a while back and just wanted to know where to pick one up? i was thinking autozone but im at school so i cant just go up and check.
