I believe most people use a 2 3/8" socket, 3/4" drive. Mine cost $15 at a clutch and brake shop.

I used a puch and hammer to get it tight:D

A bit difficult to set torque with a hammer and punch.

probally not the best way

Worked for me never had a problem on either one of my ex's:D

On the auto hubs it is a six sided nut that takes a 2 3/8 inch socket.

On the manual hubs a four pronged socket is used to engage the four slots in the nut.

Either can be purchased at clutch and brake shops, auto supplies, etc. for around $15

i believe i used a punch and a hammer too.

i can't remember my uncle changed them for me but i helped..... i know that we didn't have a 2 3/8 inch socket.......but we got it.

working fine for......10 months and counting

i have the 4 prong socket thing for my manuals...but it isnt budging on the right front side. the left side i managed to torque down. but i cant get that nut off on the right side. i got the first one off of it, but that second one will not budge

I used the jack to hold the socket at the right hight.
then i was able to put some goood presure on the nut.

They are a pain in the a**. But using the jack really helps , once i'm able to post picures i'll post showing how.
