After all mechanic crooks quoted me upwards of 395+ I am going to attemp this my self. I have the 2 spark plugs that are misfiring. cylinder 1 and 6. Where do I get the long extentiion for my rachet set so I can reach those tough ones? Any advice would be appreciated

You can buy socket extensions at just about any store.
You probably dont need any extensions to get at the said plugs.

What happened to the "mechanic crook" who was going to trade for the ancient laptop ?

Any autopart store will have an extention or Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart.

The driver's side plugs aren't too bad to get to. The passenger side plugs are best reached through the wheel well (remove the right front wheel and splash shield).

The only other thing i would recommend are some swivel adapters for your sockets. Really helped me out when i did mine.

I don't want to sound silly when I bring this up, but be sure to use deep sockets as opposed to short ones.

PB Blaster is your friend:)

Well We did it! To get to the cylinder 6 under the car is tough, he had to go under the car to reach it. So now my misfires are gone BUT I am lots of other codes, see other thread. The car seems to run better now ALOT better
