So I have been using this website for a while but just decided to join
but heres my problem (detailed)

About 3 weeks ago i had to do a brake job and while doing it i listened to the radio the whole time
after completing the brakes my battery was dead
Everytime i jumped it it would die shortly after so i decided to get a new battery because it was about that time anyways
Got the new battery
and after i drove the truck for awhile it got drained because it never charged
So i had the alternator tested and it was (atleast autozone said) bad
So got a new alt. and installed it
and still wont charge
So tested the new alt. and every thing was fine
but i dont know why it wont seem to charge my battery

Bad connection? Corrosion?
every thing seems to be good
but so far it seems to be a guessing game

I find it a bit strange tho that my battery, alt. and whatever else is the problem seemed to go out at the same time randomly

Any help would be much appreciated

Check your cables. Even if there isn't corrosion on the terminals the inside of the cables can become corroded causing charging issues.

The cables seem to be fine

have your starter checked, I have seen it before where there is a short in the starter that will draw on the battery
