Cheap mods

Anybody know of any really cheap, or easy to do yourself mod's for the engine or anything else? i did the old airbox trick...not really sure much of a difference there with the K&N.

Put zip ties on the throttle cable that hooks up to your gas pedal, it'll get rid of the slack(if there is any) and make sure your TB opens all the way.

There is some post floating around here with a mod that a guy did to his throttle body. His site is down at the moment with a description and pics of how to do it, but I guess it's supposed to really tighten up the slack on the cable? I have been wanting to see how this is done to possibly do it myself, so I'll let you know if I stumble across his signature again and if his page is up.
