I'm in a jam and have no money to buy a torque wrench. Anyway that I can see what my wheels are torqued to w/o one? What if they are over torqued on the wheel? DO I run the risk of breaking more studs? Thanks

If you have aluminum rims, you could crack or otherwise damage them by over torquing (spelling) your lug nuts. I have never used a torque wrench to tighten my lugs. I just do it by feel. But other then using a torque wrench, there is no way of knowing how many pounds you're at.

you can buy a torque wrench for around $15-20 bucks from Harbor Freight key word "torque wrench"
the only downfall of cheap torque wrenches is they will not always hold true but they still work relatively well. I have cheap ones as well as very expensive ones.
