Cheapest/Easiest way for 3in body lift

i have a 98 XLT 4x4. im looking to do a body lift, and was wondering what would be the cheapest, easiest way to do it. im trying to save money for the tires i want after the body lift, any info would be great. Thanks

Best bet would probably be to shop the net for the best price. Havent heard of making your own blocks and honestly I myself wouldn't try.
 






The body lift kit is cheap as hell. I got mine on Summit for roughly $175 shipped. Just buy the kit and be done with it.
 






i cant find it on summit. the only one i see for the 91-94. :( lol do you have the part number? any info would be great!

i just bought a 98 xlt and i want to put the 3" body lift on, but im afraid that ill get it and i won't know what the hell im doing! does it come with instructions?
 






just look it up here in the search, iv never tackled anything like this, and i read shadowravens thread, made it 100x easier got it done in 10 hours, prob woulda been faster if i used the torch for the first 6 bolts and get a sharp drill bit.
