Check Engine Light On

I have a 2000 Explorer and my engine light is on. I took it to AutoZone and they hooked it up to a computer and my truck read up as a 1 cylinder engine. It also said that it was a misfire. So the guy told me to replace the #4 spark pug or there is a burnt wire. Does this sound like the proper things that could have caused a misfire? The ford dealers said it could just be bad gas? help me please

if he read the computer code and it said misfire on #4 , check that cylinder it could be a plug or the wire , yes,, change the plug, if it does it again , change the wires,
but usually if the computer gets a misfire code, it is not wrong,, there is a reason, not just bad gas,,
maybe the ford mechanic had a burrito for lunch , , and he had bad gas,,

I have the same problem i changed all the normal stuff plugs wires injectors ect. the last thing i done was changed the lower intake gasket set it seems to be better now but my egr is throwing a code i'm gonna clean it out next or change it.
