Check Engine Light (P04F0)

2019 FPIU 3.5l Ecoboost 100k Miles

While driving home the other night I got a check engine light. The code that appeared was P04F0. Anyone seen this code before? From the TSB I found it possibly a PCV valve. I cleared the code and it hasn't come back and I put another 75 miles on it since it was cleared.

Generally a "performance" code such as P04F0 "EVAP System High Pressure Purge Line Performance has been detected.", generally means the high pressure purge line has failed.

Hey Peter,

I got the p04f0 today . I cleared the code with my obd tool and I stuck the filler funnel 4 times and started the car a few times and code did not come back. Should I worries about it coming back?

Hi there. It has been a while. When you can clear a code doing what you did, I guess there is always a chance it may come back. But for now, it seems you're good to go.
