I'm getting a p0156 code (02 circuit bank 2 sensor 2) and I replaced the driver side O2 sensor for the downstream

check engine light went off for a day or 2 and is now back on giving me the same error code

what should i be looking at next?

Any chance the bank 1 and 2 downstream sensors are cross wired? I'm not familiar with the 4.6 but its not an uncommon issue when the downstream sensors are close enough.

hi SoHK,

not exactly sure i understand...

do you mean could they have been wired incorrectly?

if that's what you mean, I don't think they are cross wired as this is the only O2 sensor that has ever been replaced.

If i'm not understanding you correctly, i'd appreciate more details

thanks for the help!
