CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

I've replaced my O2 sensors and my check engine light is still on. The batt. was disconected to reset the computer. The truck also surges at 55mph and 2000rpm. Could this be my fuel preasure regulator ????
I've got 160k and the fuel filter has been replaced already.
Any help is apreciated

Definately sounds like the pressure regulator. The only way to know for sure is to check the fuel pressure when its surging and see if its within specs. Also check the codes on the computer to make sure it is pointing at this problem. Early models will not give a code for the FPR but you should see something about the O2 sensor and/or fuel pump.

AH! If youve got a 94 its prolly the FPR... Everyones seems to go out around now.... Im just staring at mine and waiting for it to happen.
