My check engine light comes on for about a month or two then goes out for the same time period. This has happen for the past year. Is this the O2 sensor or what is appears this happens move in the summer time then in the winter months.
Thanks

My CEL is on, went to Autozone to get a reading. It said my #4 cylinder is mis-firing. How I'll pull all of the plugs and check them out but, how do I know which is the #4 cylinder ?

The cylinders are as follows:

V6

3 6
2 5
1 4

Front of x

V8

4 8
3 7
2 6
1 5

Front of x

Could be bad lead/coil pack or plug. As it is a single check the plugs first then leads. I doublt that it is the coil pack as they run in pairs. Hope this helps.

Thanks. It sure does help. I'll check that plug & wire first. Hopefully that's all it is. I also got some injector cleaner to run thru. Thought that might help smooth things out too.
