If you had a SD lifted like that would you take it off road?

Id play in the mud with in for sure..... not all the time though. I love keeping my vehicles clean and ding/chip free as possible. Im a neat freak when it comes to that..... no to mention the truck i priced out was $45000 + the custom lift and tires/wheels.... I wouldnt want to beat on it that much seeing id have $60K into it....... but yes.... i would play off-road from time to time.

its just something about lifted super duties that really gets to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are the baddest trucks in the world as far as im concerned

Right on dude, I hear ya. I also like the look of lifted SD's. I have always thought of things as function before form. If I was going to dump tons of cash in something it would be a 1977 911s.

I like the SD's also, but I'm a HUGE fan of the older (and newer ;) ) Broncos! Those things are so bad! My dad has an '88 Bronco and that is also one cool rig. I miss the Broncos!!!!:(

Just in some references to people calling it a pavement queen and the like - if I spent that much making something look that good, I wouldn't off-road it for at least 2 or 3 years. I'd sit in my garage and 'respect it' (stealing an Adam Sandler bit... :))

Actually I seen the dude get in the truck with his
young son. Their's a change his wife might drive it
though..

Just a thought

If that was my truck id wheel it. so what if its to big, dents and scratched build character :D

PUR PONY- there is a guy here i know that has the truck you want. its a superduty with 20" lift on 44's. its a weird burnt orange color. next time i see him, ill take a pic. its not very fun running 44" swampers on interstate @70mph. they roadwalk a little.

James T-

is the truck you are talking about burnt orange with a lower black stripe? cab in a half??

See fo me though.... i couldnt have a truck that high... i need to load a sled, or my atv.....

The truck i have been thinking about buying and building....

dark char grey 4 door short bed, full black leather, Turbo Diesel, with a 8" lift and 38's. I would love it bigger but i want to make it somewhat usful... ya know.

I also love bronco's.... i have always wanted an early 70's with a lift and a 351.

I don't see a lot of money in it (outside of the cost of the truck). Some BIG OL' leafs, shock hoops, shocks, steering setup.........not TOO much.
